We offer a variety of ways to take classes online. From our Small Group Classes, to our Weekly Art Events, or our one-on-one Independent Study, you'll find a way to stay in touch with your creativity in our online program.
Small Group Classes
In our small group classes (maximum 6 participants), you'll be guided through a weekly lesson in our three hour Zoom session. We will start with a discussion and demonstration of the goals and concepts for the week. During class, you will have time to work on your piece along with the instructor and ask questions along the way. Weekly small group classes also include an asynchronous video critique each week. Just send me photos of your work in progress, and I'll record a video with suggestions and comments similar to this example.
Small group classes are for older teens and adults.
Follow your own path. Our weekly Zoom call will be tailored to meet your specific learning progression. We'll discuss your current projects, look at what is working and where you can improve, and we'll talk about how to take your work to the next level. We will set goals for the week, and you'll receive specific guidance about where to focus your time and energy for the best results.
Each week between our weekly Zoom calls, students can email me photos of work in-progress and receive a link to a video critique of their work. Using photoshop to "markup" your work, I'll show you how making specific changes can improve the piece. You can see an example of my video feedback here.
Independent Study is intended for adults and older teens.
