She / Her

Mary Flack founded Insight Fine Art Studio in 2016. After teaching art for 17 years at various locations, including private studios, high schools, colleges and park districts,  Mary wanted to create a studio where kids and adults could study painting and drawing in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Mary earned a BFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and an MFA from the American Academy of Art in Chicago.  She  has won numerous awards for her artwork and creates commissioned paintings and portraits for select clients. Deb Anderson paints still life and landscapes in oil, both in her Glenview studio and outdoors, on location. The practice of painting helps her perceive the world more clearly, and encourages a deeper appreciation for our surroundings.

Deb grew up in rural Michigan and later earned a B.A. in Art from North Park University in Chicago. She is also a freelance graphic designer, and has taught classes in digital illustration and digital imaging at the college level. 

Her paintings have sold across the country and internationally. She has received numerous awards for art. She exhibits with the Glenview Art League, Gallery 1070 in Chicago and the Danon Gallery in Evanston.  Deb's work can be found at


She / Her

Stephanie Broussard is a Chicago-based artist who specializes in creating large scale oil paintings. As a figurative painter her work stems from personal narratives to create a deeper appreciation for the world around her.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Stephanie received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from Washington State University. She was a drawing fundamentals instructor at Washington State University and has received numerous awards for her work. 

Stephanie recently had a solo exhibition at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art in April of 2021 and has exhibited her work at Dragonfly Gallery, the Martin, and Fulton Street Collective in the Chicago-land area. Her work can be found at 


They  / Them

Benjamin Thrash spent the the first 24 years of their life growing up in the suburbs of Atlanta before moving to Chicago. They graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a degree in both fine arts and art education. While at UGA, Benjamin studied abroad under two fine-art programs in Italy and Costa Rica. Benjamin also spent two years working with The Georgia Museum of Art where they honed their ability to write about art and are accredited in over a dozen of the museum's publications. Benjamin has also worked on over a dozen murals across Georgia with the group Color the World Bright. Their area of emphasis in art is with traditional drawing media like graphite, charcoal, and ink, and they have a strong affinity for symbolic, representational artwork. They have recently been hired as an art teacher at Mozart Elementary School where they are eager to settle into a career dedicated to the betterment of others.
